Bay View Area Redcats Inc. offers an opportunity for youths to participate in organized athletic competition, including but not limited to tackle football, baseball, basketball, softball and cheerleading.

FOOTBALL

     Tackle

• Regstration fee of $150 plus $200 fundraiser/ $200 buyout

  • Total fee of $350

• Certified coaches and WIAA certified referees

• Season runs from the end of July until the beginning of November

• Rental of all equipment (helmets, shoulder pads) and game and practice uniforms

• Average of 8 league games during the season (usually Saturdays)

• Practices 3 evenings a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs from 6PM-8PM)

• Open to boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade (can not be 15 yrs old before Sept 1)

• 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade teams

• End of the year banquet

• Participation trophies for all players

• No prior experience necessary

BASEBALL

 

• Open to all children ages 5 -14yrs old 8th grade grads OK, No high school students.

• Season runs 1st week of April until the end of July

• No prior experience necessary

• Coach Pitch division

•     (Minors) Approximate ages: 5-7 Years old (still open)

• Player Pitch divisions (Umpired and scored games)

            Majors (Approximate ages 8-11 Years old)

                                          Play on a 60 ft diamond

   Seniors (Approximate ages 11-14 Years Old)

                                            Play on a 75 ft diamond

All divisions include

• Full uniform that you keep (cap, t-shirt jersey, and pants)

• Game schedule of at least 12 games (Usual season = 18

• Games played an average of twice/week

• End of the year banquet/picnic

• Participation trophies for all players

• Certified coaches and umpires (Majors/Seniors)

• Boys and Girls welcome to play.

• Playing age determined by age on June 1 of the year

Fast Pitch Softball

• Registration fee of $60 plus fundraiser / $120 buyout

•  Totally Registration fee of $180

• Open to all girls 3rd grade - 8th grade grads OK, (No high school students.)

• Season runs 1st week of April until the end of July.

• Practices one evenings a week (Mon -Thurs from 6PM-8PM)

•   and every Saturday ( ranging from 8AM - 5PM )

• Games will began around 1st week of June.

• No prior experience necessary.

• Minors   3rd grade - 5th grade (still open)

• Majors   6th grade - 8th grade (still open)

  

All divisions include

• Games played an average of  twice/week

• End of the year banquet/picnic
